Scottish Rite Cathedral/The New Englander: Courtney & Roger's Wedding 7-11-20

I first met Courtney at the New Castle Bridal Fair in January 2019. She was at the bridal show with family members as she was planning for her July 2020 wedding. She was full of energy and her laugh was contagious. We chatted at my booth as she first entered that show and she said to me that she had a feeling she would be back before she left. As she and her family were getting ready to leave, she came back over to me and said, "You're booked!"

Fast forward to March 2020, and Covid hits. I received a call from Courtney in distress. We talked for close to an hour, a call that started out in tears and ended in laughter. This was not the year so many brides had planed on having to deal with for their upcoming weddings.

On July 11, 2020, Courtney and Roger did get to have their wedding, and a beautiful wedding it was. The ceremony took place at The Scottish Rite Cathedral in New Castle PA, which ironically was where the bridal show took place the year before where we met. Guests wore masks and were social distancing. The location was gorgeous and gave us gorgeous locations inside and out for post ceremony photographs. We also did some post ceremony photos at the courthouse in New Castle that has columns reminiscent of Tara in "Gone With The Wind".

The reception followed at The New Englander Banquet Center in New Castle PA. The day was incredible and I was so happy that Courtney and Roger were able to have their dream wedding!
