Engagement sessions are a great way to become more acquainted and comfortable in posing for your photographer. I've had a number of couples tell me that they don't think they're very photogenic. The key to an engagement session is for the couple to be themselves and not try to be someone they aren't. Relax....have fun! 

When planning for your engagement session, consider bringing along a prop or sign with your wedding date, a blanket, and even your dog! Also think about bringing along a change of outfits to wear. I bring along a portable changing room with me on engagement sessions so there is no need to worry about running back to your car or looking for a place to change.
